At Sketch, we believe that good design is personal and emotional. It tells a story and exudes positive energy. It’s also a collaborative and iterative process that requires foresight, flexibility, and dedication.
As a boutique studio, we choose to take on just a few select clients at a time, so you’re never just a number to us. Our clients love us for our upfront approach, candid advice, sense of style, and eye for detail.
We’ve worked on all kinds of commercial projects – from retail stores to salons and gyms – but our specialty is restaurant and bar experiences. We are passionate about boutique hotel design and the hospitality industry in all its forms.
Hi, I'm Enrike – the creative mind behind Sketch
Over a decade ago, my career began in South Africa and continued in Dubai, where I worked with incredible brands like Shake Shack and P.F. Chang’s. My experiences inspired me to return home and start my studio in Johannesburg.
Sketch Interior Architecture took off in 2019 with the design of Proud Mary, an all-day eatery in the heart of Rosebank. This project is special to me not just because it marked Sketch’s launch, but also because it's where I met my husband!
When I'm not immersed in design, you'll find me sketching new ideas or pausing on content to screenshot eye-catching looks. I can't help but admire and analyse the creativity I see around me, and I’m always hunting for more because the process of creating from scratch and seeing concepts come to life never gets old.
